The Wellstone Center wants to answer all of your event related questions with the click of a button, making your experience easy from start to finish. Please find information about optional items you can add to your event, like presentation materials, audio visual equipment, food and beverage ideas and more. All of our a la carte rates are listed on the Additional Services PDF for your convenience.
Food and Beverage
The Wellstone Center has no catering restrictions* and we are pleased to offer both a commercial kitchen and a teaching kitchen for use with your own caterer, if needed. We do offer water and/or coffee service for meetings and events for an additional fee. If you would like current kitchen rental rates, please contact Chong or Seng at 651.789.2542 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
*The Wellstone Center allows renters to select their own caterer, unless alcoholic beverages are served. As a city facility, renters wishing to serve alcohol may only use a licensed liquor caterer that has a Certificate of Insurance with Liquor Liability in the amounts of $50,000 per person, bodily injury; $100,000 more than one person, bodily injury; $10,000 property destruction; $50,000/$100,000 for loss of means of support. Only beer, champagne, and wine can be served in this facility (cash or open bar). Additionally, all renters wishing to serve alcohol at their event are required to hire an off-duty St. Paul Police Officer during the time alcohol is served and consumed. Police officers are arranged through The Wellstone Center and renters are required to pay the officer in cash or check directly before the start of the event. Audio / Visual
The Wellstone Center is pleased to offer a selection of audio/ visual equipment options, from easels and flipcharts to full podium and microphones, plus LCD projectors, projection screens and more.
Seating and Staging Set-up Options
We have several seating and staging options to choose from, including 4’ x 8’ staging sections to create stages as small or large as you would like for your unique event. All items are a la carte to meet your individual needs.
From copy and fax services to before and after hour fees, there are additional items available to cover all of your event needs, no matter the size or style, the day or time.
